GWG seeks to strengthen our community through arts by supporting projects that promote the creation of, access to, and appreciation of the arts, as well as programs that incorporate the arts as part of a multidisciplinary program.

Warehouse Theatre

$75,259 to replace failing, noisy heating and air-conditioning units with a more efficient system which will not disrupt performances, workshops and community outreach programs.

To purchase needed equipment for the new Theatre Arts Center to ensure state-of-the-art theatrical productions.

Greenville Little Theatre

The grant helped Greenville Little Theatre upgrade its antiquated lighting by purchasing and installing new state-of-the-art “intelligent” LED lighting equipment of the same caliber used on Broadway.

Used to buy new instruments, repair existing ones and pay for supplies, so more disadvantaged students can benefit from Tanglewood Middle School Band.

Metropolitan Arts Council

To train and mentor 25 new teachers in "SmartARTS", a successful program that has used arts integration intensively in Upstate classrooms for more than 12 years.
