GWG seeks to strengthen our community through arts by supporting projects that promote the creation of, access to, and appreciation of the arts, as well as programs that incorporate the arts as part of a multidisciplinary program.

South Carolina Children’s Theatre

Create an inclusive theatre experience by purchasing assistive technology for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Technology purchased will include two live feed cameras and viewing screens for both theatre spaces, side tab curtains, and microphones, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy the theatre.

Greenville County Schools Fine Arts Center

Expand the Summer Arts program to engage underserved, talented 7th and 8th graders in rigorous arts instruction. The expanded program will allow 70 students from Title 1 schools to participate in the summer programs with the goal of achieving acceptance to the Fine Arts Center.

The Warehouse Theatre

$75,259 to replace failing, noisy heating and air-conditioning units with a more efficient system which will not disrupt performances, workshops and community outreach programs.
