Greenville County Schools Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning is a program of the Greenville County School District providing education and training for adults. GWG funds will be used to expand its "English for Parents" program at 6 additional schools with large Hispanic populations and high percentages of students on free and reduced lunch.

Furman University: Bridges to a Brighter Future

Grant Amount: $26,100

The GWG award will fund mental and emotional counseling for the students, a part-time art teacher, and participation in a national environmental program called "Climate Quest".

GWG funds will be used to help cover operational expenses during the yW Empowerment Center's inaugural year.

GWG will fund the Syllabus Strategies Project, the first comprehensive revision of GLA's ESL Curriculum Guides since 2001.
